The Biology of
Ink Removal.
Tatt2Away® templating is key to achieving exceptional tattoo removal outcomes. The body’s mechanism of healing occurs from the bottom up and the outside in. Superficial, controlled abrasions of the epidermis in the patented tegulae pattern with 3mm skin bridges, promote healing by preserving healthy cells for faster recovery. The application of TEPRSOL during treatment benefits in lubricating the skin and providing an antibacterial barrier which disrupts the ink and further stimulates skin recovery. With time and careful attention to aftercare, the ink is expelled into scabs which shed to reveal fresh ink free skin.

The Ink Removal Sequence.
During the first treatment, the original tattoo is mapped with our non-laser treatment system, abrading the skin and distrupting the ink. Following treatment, as the body naturally begins the healing process, debris scabs form collecting the expelled ink. Over the next 10-14 days, the scabs will shed, taking the ink out and revealing fresh ink-free skin with natural pigmentation. For optimal results, we recommend waiting 6-8 weeks between sessions to allow the skin ample time to heal and eliminate the ink. Following The Aftercare Protocol is essential for optimal results. This sequential process ensures safe, effective, gradual tattoo removal without damage to the surrounding skin tissue.
